On the way to Butte, Montana at a rest stop ... this reminds me of the Fir Forest painting by Gustav Klimt.

Taken at evening twilight before dusk. Badlands National Park, South Dakota.
Badlands National Park is known for its spectacular sunrises and sunsets. There was a soft glow in the sky and I could see the colour of the rock formations slowing turning into bright orange.
I was up to see the sunrise and I didn't expect to see the moon. It was slowly going down. This photo was taken at morning twilight after dawn. The yellow and orange shades made it more beautiful. Badlands National Park, South Dakota.

The sun was up. It was quite unusual with the orange - brown colour. I quickly got my camera out and took this photo. Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
I can't remember exactly where I was but I know this photo was taken when I was on the way to Halifax, Nova Scotia from Charlottetown, PEI. The sea was so calm and I like how the three colours of yellow, green and blue combined to form a simple pattern.
